Reporting to the Production Supervisor my client is looking for a driven and skilled Production Technician to join their dynamic team. They are a leading innovator in the production of a high-quality niche lifestyle equipment range. They maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship and technology, offering industry-leading products to clients around the world.
You would ensure all necessary components and sub-assemblies are ready for the current production run. Assemble sub-components and perform electrical wiring on a wide range of equipment, including electric devices up to 120 kW. Perform pressure and electrical testing to ensure product integrity and safety. Screen and quality check all components and final products to meet their high company standards. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace to ensure efficiency and productivity. Ensure that all production targets are met and report any issues to the supervisor in a timely manner. Assist in the cleaning, packing, and dispatching of completed items, including pallet wrapping and strapping. Ensure tooling remains in good working condition and report any issues. Follow all safety guidelines and immediately report any safety concerns to the supervisor.
You would work well in a team and communicate effectively with other team members, maintaining confidentiality.
You handle pressure well and maintain a positive, calm, and professional demeanor with both colleagues and clients.
You ensure quality standards are upheld and always work in an organised and tidy manner.

Skills Required
This role requires significant production experience, preferably in wiring and assembly. As a Production Technician, you will be an integral part of the production process, ensuring that the assembly, wiring, testing, and packing of equipment are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You will monitor component stock levels, collaborate closely with the Production Supervisor, and support the smooth operation of production.
Experience in electrical wiring, assembly, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift, pack, and move products as part of the production process.
