Production Technician

Job Title: Night Shift Maintenance Technician
Location: Plymouth
Salary: �28,000 + 48% shift premium
Shift Pattern: 3 nights on, 3 nights off (11 PM - 11 AM)

Your Role:
As a Night Shift Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring our production lines run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities include:

• Operating production machinery, covering breaks, and completing pallet release duties.
• Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and refurbishing offline machinery.
• Diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical faults.
• Setting up manufacturing equipment to meet production standards.
• Monitoring in-process quality and resolving issues to prevent delays.
• Minimising downtime by effectively managing repairs and spare parts within budget.

About You:
We're looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in a fast-paced, highly automated manufacturing environment. To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (e.g., C&G, HND) or a time-served apprenticeship.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong skills in maintenance and fault finding.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality health care products.
