About the role:
We are looking for an experienced
Programme Manager
to organise and coordinate our internal transformation programme.
You will provide guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the company’s culture and align with business objectives. You will also oversee the progress of programme operations ensuring business engagement and project alignment throughout the programme. You will identify risk, gaps and resource constraints that could impact the delivery of the transformation and flag to the Steering Committee.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in identifying key programme risk, vendor and stakeholder engagement , identifying and communicating ROI, as well as managing a team of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Formulate, organise and monitor inter-connected projects by working closely with project sponsor, cross-functional business product owners and teams, external vendors and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
Coach, lead and evaluate project managers and other business colleagues for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
Coordinate cross-project activities Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors
Develop and control programme deadlines, budgets and activities and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives while resolving projects’ higher scope issue
Work with project teams to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the Project Management Office. Prepare reports for programme directors/sponsors
Apply change, risk and resource management tools to evaluate, and overcome programme risks, and produce programme reports for managers and stakeholders

Thorough understanding of project/programme management techniques and methods, Prince2, Agile or others (certification is a plus)
Proven experience as a Programme Manager or Senior Project Manager position
Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation processes and change management principles
Excellent communication skills with non-technical people throughout the organisation
Ability to problem-solve quickly
Experience in an upper-management role, preferably in program management
Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organisation
Experience in managing stakeholders
