As Project Accountant for a Global Omni-Channel Communications business, you will be part of a newly created centralised finance function providing support to divisional finance business partners in the production and management of financial transactions and activities. The objective to bring a high degree of quality, control and insight to the financial close, budgeting and forecasting processes.





This is a multi site business that operate both in the UK and internationally to provide Digital Print Services, Workplace Solutions and Business Processing Outsourcing.





Responsibilities:






  • Support the accounting close process by managing balances via journals (managing accruals, deferrals, prepayments and IFRS adjustments, etc.)

  • Review and reconcile key elements within the Profit & Loss

  • Support Month End Reporting requirements

  • Provide assurance of financial balances, by performing Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations consistent with Business Policies & Procedures

  • Support internal and external audit requirements







Skills/Experience:




  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)

  • Experience of working with stakeholders of differing levels of seniority and non-financial stakeholders

  • Advanced Excel skills to enable manipulation of multiple data sources to deliver detailed analytics is essential

  • Prior experience within a large manufacturing environment would be advantageous.





This role will be based in Wymondham, site based but with some flexibility. This will be a fixed term contract post for 6 months.
