Description

  • Efficiently manage procurement processes within the energy and natural resources sector.
  • Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of procurement practices with company objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and products.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
  • Undertake risk management for supply contracts and agreements.

Profile

A successful Buyer should have:

  • Experience in Procurement
  • Profound knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to foster and cultivate business opportunities and partnerships.
  • A knack for adapting to changing environments and market trends.
  • Excellent skills in decision making and working with numbers.
  • Experience with supplier management software.
