Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Overview of Role:

My client is a family run business. My client has grown from a single owner-operated plant hire company to a multifaceted group with family values still firmly at the heart of each project undertaken. Demolition, strip out and enabling works are all part of the refurbishment and regeneration of our landscape.

Main Responsibilities:

Your job will also include negotiating best prices between suppliers, handling online orders and taking care of urgent deliveries to construction sites.

  • Sub-Contractor & Suppliers: Your role will involve managing current suppliers, organising deliveries, and maintaining relationships with relevant suppliers and subcontractors. In addition, you'll be responsible for updating databases with sub-contractor information and expanding our subcontractor network across all construction projects.

  • Site Set-Up & Demobilisation: As a construction project coordinator, you'll manage site transitions, liaise with the Project Manager regarding site-specific needs, and handle the logistics for site set-up and demobilisation.

  • In-House Health & Safety: Your responsibilities will include conducting site audits, ensuring all sites comply with health and safety standards, and reporting findings to Directors.

  • Project Documentation: As a key player in project management, you'll be responsible for maintaining all project documentation, including valuations, subcontractor information, purchase orders, and invoices.

As a construction project coordinator, you'll be responsible for maintaining subcontractor and supplier costings within budget, advising the Project Manager on potential savings.
