Project Director - Commercial and Industrial Solar

Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a large commercial and industrial Solar business who are looking for a Project Director on a 3 to 6 month contract
The Project Director role comes with a highly competitive day rate and reasonable expenses.
This role will ideally require a couple of days in the office in central London per week.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the CEO you will:

• Manage a portfolio of circa 50 rooftop solar projects with a value of circa �50m
• Manage the projects via the Project Managers who are the first point of contact on these projects
• Provide overseeing support to the Project Managers on site when required
• Deal with any major escalations on projects
• Occasional site presence where required with the sites being from 50kw assets to over 1MW

Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Previous experience in the commercial and industrial solar sector
• Management experience in the solar sector
• Experience managing large budgets and a multi-project format
