Project Director - Design & Build Main ContractorOur client is a very reputable Design and Build Main Contractor who work on a broad portfolio of projects. Some of these projects include, large scale regeneration works, high end residential, retail and leisure schemes. They also cover a lot of commercial and high end fit out projects.They are now looking for a Project Director to join the team on a permanent basis.The successful applicant will need to manage and direct all aspects of construction operations, to include people, functions, and teams responsible for completing production and commercial requirements of the projects under the PD’s remit.Project values are generally between £100-£250m.This specific project value is approximately £140mThis project is based in Moorgate, London.Main Responsibilities & Duties:Management of the business and projectsProject PlanningProject ProgrammeProject Quality, Costs and DesignOversight of procurement, people, subcontractors and plant & materialsHealth and SafetyProject HandoverCriteria:NVQ Level 7 in Construction/Construction DegreeChartered Member of CIOBNHBC StandardsJCT ContractsMSc in Construction Management/Project Management – desirablePrevious experience as a Project Director/Senior Project Manager with a reputable main contractorExperience working with a reputable Design and Build Main ContractorExperience within the residential, commercial and high end fit out sectorsExperience working on Grade II listed buildings Strong IT, communication & project planning skillsExcellent personnel management skills and capacity to build a strong project teamCavendish (Recruitment) Professionals Ltd are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and we believe that inclusivity begins with the candidate experience.
