My client is looking for a Project Engineer to join on them on a contract basis in Yeovil.
This Aerospace company is a leading provider of integrated avionics, engines, systems and service solutions for aircraft manufacturers, airlines, business and general aviation, military space and airport operations.


Role: Project Engineer (Contract)
Pay: �35-�45 per hour PAYE (depending on experience)
Location: Yeovil
Hours: 37 hours per week Monday - Friday
Security Clearance: BPSS clearance, Drug Screening and DBS Check Required
** PLEASE NOTE: We can only accept applications from UK and NATO country passport holders due to the nature of work.


Main responsibilities:
* Receive request from Customer / OEM / Programme
* Collate requirements and prepare proposal template
* Share requirements with the Technical Publications team/supplier
* Review quote received from supplier
* Estimations in AET (Estimation Tool)
* Release PO to Supplier
* Coordinate with Supplier
* Review and approve applicable documents
* Submit to OEM
Skills/Experience Required:
* Previous project engineering experience within the aerospace production environment
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
* Previous experience of working within a project engineering environment, and an understanding of the engineering lifecycle of a product from conception to commissioning
* A strong understanding and experience of working with suppliers and integrated supply chains and how and where they fit in the project lifecycle
