Project Engineer (CCTV & Access Controls)

Hexagon Recruitment are recruiting for our client for the Permanent position of a: Project Manager (Security & Data Systems).
Our client are one of the largest Security & Data System Installation companies in the UK and through continued growth within the Commercial, Industrial and Retail sectors right across the UK our client are expanding the Project Management team.
Our Client requires the following experience:

• Quote for works & further Actions.
• Schedule works & visits
• Visit customer premises to carry out site surveys.
• Abe to read and discuss planned drawings
• Follow up further actions from projects.
• Manage customer call outs, allocation of resource and follow up.
• Project management of works
• Estimation and quotation of works and additions to systems in ongoing or start up projects.
• Produce invoice forecasts to liase with Installation Manager
• Provide all required paperwork to enable projects to comply with accreditations etc
• Assist with Audit & department processes.
• Co-operate in internal and external audits with company & clients.
• Managing project budgets and costs for small & large projects
• Management of Engineers and Subcontractors
• P&L responsibility assigned projects
• Ensuring works are completed to the highest standard of quality and industry compliance.
• Supporting the Customers and internal Staff with technical and engineering queries form start to finish.
• Managing ‘difficult’ jobs and situations and to be responsible for the smooth running of the projects
• Reporting to Senior Managers and Directors

Our client also requires the following skills:

• Installing and Dressing copper - Cat5e, Cat6, Cat 6A
• Terminating and Testing copper - Cat5e, Cat6, Cat 6A
• Installing and dressing fibre cables
• Installing Racks and Cabinets
• Installing IP cameras and Access Control
• IT Systems Installations
• Hold the relevant experience and qualifications for the role
