Project Engineer - fire and Security
A long standing, successful and growing fire and security company has a new vacancy for a Fire and Security Project Engineer to join their team. This is a progressive role where the ideal candidate should be ambitious and wanting to progress into a project manager. Being a family run business they have a strong moral compass, wanting their employees to grow and develop from within. By providing as much support and training as needed. This role is based in Kent.
The successful Fire and Security Project Engineer will be doing:

  • Fire and Security Project Engineer will help to support the project management team with any ongoing/ new private residential and commercial projects
  • Fire and Security Project Engineer will be able to support on-going projects in relation to smoke, ventilation and fire alarm systems
  • Fire and Security Project Engineer will be able to deliver risk and method statements
  • Fire and Security Project Engineer will be able to detail project reports including quality and progression
  • Fire and Security Project Engineer will be able assist accounts department with all project related debt
  • Fire and Security Project Engineer will be able ensure good cost control across projects and advise the business of profit/loss
  • Fire and Security Project Engineer will be able co-ordinate onsite deliveries
  • Fire and Security Project Engineer will be able ensure resources are available in line with the client's program and monitor progress


To be successful the Fire and Security Project Engineer will need:

  • The Fire and Security Project Engineer will need relevant experience within a Fire or Security background, Electrical background is also accepted.
  • The Fire and Security Project Engineer will need excellent coordination skills, experiences working with different teams at once is beneficial
  • A Fire and Security Project Engineer with an FIA qualification would be an advantage
  • The Fire and Security Project Engineer will need a CSCS Card or equivalent
  • The Fire and Security Project Engineer will have will need a Full UK driving license
  • Fire and Security Project Engineer will have to be in a commutable distance of Kent


Fire and Security Project Engineer will be paid �30k-�45k dependent on experience + 23 days holiday + Private healthcare + Income protection + Death in service + Electric car charging at office
