Project Engineer – Trim ShopCoventry £35,000 - £50,000 DOEThe Recruitment Bunker are recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer for a leading company based in Coventry.Reporting into the Production Director the Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in the delivery of Internal and external Trim Shop projects.Overview of the roleProject Engineer – Trim ShopSalary: £35,000 - £50,000Holidays: 25 days plus 8 Bank HolidaysPension / Healthcare / Life InsuranceEmployee Referral SchemeLocation: CoventryCompany OverviewOur client, a specialist engineering design and development company that has grown into a business that can deliver a complete turnkey solution on behalf of its global customers. To deliver this overall capability, they have developed its skills in project and supply chain management and put in place all the necessary quality systems and processes to allow them to deliver projects to the standards expected by our customers.ResponsibilitiesCompany Policies: Follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the companyTo oversee project budgets and work with Director to ensure cot efficiencyLiaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver Trim Shop work to the highest standardsWork In conjunction with senior management produce accurate Trim Shop quotes following the correct ordering processProduce accurate Bill of Materials for all trim shop projectsSchedule Trim Shop workload in line with capacity and customer requirementsLiaise with Design, Development and Manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure the timely delivery of projectsSupport senior management to enable the efficient day to day running and sustainable growth of the Trim Shop.Essential SkillsStrong experience of working within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment with relevant experience as a Project Engineer within interiors / exteriors or within a Project Support/ Management role, in a fast paced, forward-thinking businessLiaise and communicate with other departments, suppliers, and other service providersAbility to manage one’s own time, multitask and prioritise workload accordinglyProficient in project management tools, Microsoft Office, and other relevant softwareAbility to produce reports and conduct meetingsPlans work and cascades to team Integrates departmental planning with other business unitsDemonstrates good emotional intelligence, ethics, and professionalismOrganised, Methodical but Flexible approach to workloadMust have IDLR/ Full right to work in UK- Sponsorship will not be provided.Desirable SkillsExperience and knowledge of designing project guidelines and proceduresCan lead small teamsEngineering degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.Please note we do not provide sponsorships to those who require it and will only accept applications from those who have full rights to work in the UK with no restrictions and IDLR/Full Settlement status.
