Project Engineer

People In Power is working in partnership with a leading�EPC to support them in delivering 132kv substations and associated cabling works across the UK either for large new connection projects ranging from Data centers, Battery storage, large-scale Solar projects or National Grid�Frameworks.

Due to exponential�growth, we are looking to secure a Project Engineer/Assistant to undertake essential civil Engineering responsibilities and provide assistance to the Project manager across a variety of 33kv cable installation works on National Grid sites.

You will be site based and report to the Project Manager who will work across a number of sites. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited too;

• General site surveys


• Quality control inspections


• Rams


• Setting out cable routes


• compliance functions


• site setting to work activities,


• Assisting the Manager with necessary project administration activities

You must have experience working as a Senior Site Manager/ Project Engineer on HV cabling & substation projects previously, ideally in a National Grid environment.

Must be IT competent in the use of Excel, Word, MPP, Basic Auto CAD
