What about yours? ​If you want to be part of a diverse company that is Shaped by Nature and powering its future check this open position!Greenvolt Next is currently looking for a Project Engineer to join our team.Site Management:Oversee and manage the on-site installation of Solar PV systems, ensuring alignment with project plans designs and specifications.Ensure the Construction Design Management Regulations are enforced and adhered toCoordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.Health and Safety:Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures on site to achieve our Zero accident and incident targets.Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, briefs and Toolbox talks to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.Lead safety meetings and training sessions for on-site personnel.Quality Management:Utilising the company Quality Management System, adhere to and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that the installation work meets the required standards.Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality of materials and workmanship.Document and report any quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.Technical Support:Support the Sales team when required to undergo site surveys to establish requirements for a successful tendering processProvide technical guidance and support to the installation team.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the installation process.Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including daily reports, safety logs, and quality control records and report to the responsible Project ManagerPrepare and present project status reports to management and clients.Stakeholder Management:Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to address any concerns and ensure satisfaction.Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders.OtherProactively develop technical skills and knowledge as to keep pace with new developments with a willingness to learn the design and layout of Solar installationsDemonstrate an open, positive attitude to learning and developing a broad range of skillsShare knowledge and impart skills to other team membersFlexibility to travel and work away from home where requiredAssist in any other duties which may encompass the roleUnderstanding of Health and Safety requirements and Construction Design Management Regulations 2015Location:The role is UK based: While the initial role will be predominantly based in the Warrington area, travel and overnight stays may be required to suit future projects assigned.Qualifications and Required Experience:Ideally you will have HND/Degree level in an Electrical or Mechanical disciplineYou will be Safety and Quality DrivenHold SMSTS CertificateCSCS Card holderHave In date First Aid trainingFire MarshallProven track record of managing complex projectsMicrosoft Word, Excel and Project competencyAble to manage own workload Strong team player Experience delivering:Solar Generation Plant installation experienceLV & HV knowledge for grid connectionsG100 / G99 processAbout Greenvolt Next: You will be joining an open and honest work environment in one of the fastest growing sectors in the world.
