The role
As the Project Engineer your will assist the Site Agent with technical, organisation and supervisory input across various projects.
Your day to day will comprise of:
Setting out and as-built surveys for installation
Reviewing installation drawings and providing instruction to site erection team
Quality assurance management
Producing and checking Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Construction Phase Plans
Producing works programmes and liaising with contractors to ensure programme dates are met
Liaising and facilitating relationships with designers, contractors, stakeholders and client
Advising designers on buildability of designs
Managing all permits and approvals for the project
Assisting in resolving site/construction issues
Arranging and chairing progress meetings with contractors
Ensuring workforce adhere to H&S and Environmental rules
About you
The Project Engineer should possess a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal skills to meticulously oversee the project.
The ideal candidate will be able to tick the below
Fully qualified Civil Engineer or Surveyor
Sound knowledge of Traffic Management and Health & Safety practises
Demonstrate that you are hardworking, knowledgeable and personable individual that can work in their own initiative but that can also take and follow directions
Professional approach and effective role model for the Company’s values and culture.
