Project Engineer / Project Coordinator / Contracts Engineer Responsibilities
  • Deliver engineering support for the repair, refurbishment, operation, and maintenance of offshore cranes.
  • Manage projects, ensuring compliance with company processes and policies.
  • Support mechanical equipment needs, including spare parts sourcing, refurbishment, and rentals.
  • Perform engineering design work for offshore crane and lifting projects.
  • Conduct lifting studies and prepare workpacks for onshore and offshore activities.
  • Oversee technical and commercial aspects of project management.
  • Lead offshore/onshore surveys and project scopes.
  • Assist in developing tenders, proposals, and engineering documentation.
  • Familiarize with and follow HSEQ and safety policies of both the client and the company.
  • Implement safe work practices and identify hazards on-site.
  • Stay informed on relevant legislation and industry best practices.
  • Plan and document work processes to meet standards with minimal risk.
  • Provide clear instructions to ensure safe execution and effective communication.
  • Promote safety and environmental responsibility among team members.
  • Address and report any breaches of company rules.
  • Report any issues with the management system to line management.
Project Engineer / Project Coordinator / Contracts Engineer Requirements
  • Previous experience Project Engineer, Project Coordinator, Contracts Engineer or similar.
  • Previous experience working on mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical equipment projects is ideal.
  • Experience working on heavy plant, cranes or back decks for subsea vessels or marine engineering will be advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings and manuals
  • A degree will be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good IT Skills.
