Project Engineer (Maintenance / CAPEX / Operational Projects)

£40,000 to £47,000 + 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension (5%) + Westbury Health + Access Cycle Scheme
40 Hours per Week - Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30
Project Engineer required for a highly successful market leading manufacturer with a global reputation. Over the last 25 years the company has gone from strength to strength gaining market share.
The successful candidate will be mechanically or electrically biased engineer with previous experience working in a manufacturing environment (or similar). This role would suit candidates with practical, hands-on experience, such as working within a maintenance role with some projects related experience and keen to move into a project engineer role.
Reporting to the company’s Project Manager, the successful Project Engineer will be responsible for managing site projects at the company’s Ross on Wye site. You will manage budgets to ensure projects are delivered within this and on time.
The Project Technician Role:
· Responsible for managing Ross on Wye site projects
· Working on CAPEX and Operational Projects – all elements of continuous improvements, equipment, machinery, growth, building facilities etc.
· Management of contractors
· Working with OEM’s/Suppliers for best return on investment
· Lead projects from detailed design to successful CAR approval stage
· May require travel to other company sites
The Successful Project Technician Candidate:
· Electrically or mechanically biased and hold a relevant qualification
· You will have experience or exposure to manufacturing
· Hands on experience
