Project Engineer

We have an immediate opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our team working in partnership with FLI Water.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and assisting both Project Managers and Commercial Staff with technical and design queries relating to projects.


• Undertaking site surveys, supplying information to designers ensuring accurate production of design proposals.


• Providing support in the costing of projects, including material take offs, obtaining quotations from suppliers, advising on durations for fabrication, time on site and plant requirements.


• You will provide recommendations where applicable on cost savings or alternative solutions.


• This is a detailed focussed role where you will have responsibility for checking documents and drawings, liaising with designers and suppliers.


• The role includes attending design review meetings, site progress meeting and the production of RAMS.

You will need a clean driving licence as there will be travel to sites.

Strong communication skills are a given as you will be working closely with project managers and site supervisors to progress a project and report back on any early warning documents or additional works required.

This role will be supporting all staff within the projects and other business areas, including finance and providing information for raising of the purchase orders. You will also ensure the site supervisors have what they need to progress the project.
