Connect Appointments are working with our new engineering client in Aberdeen, and are on the lookout for a Project Engineer to join our client's team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time permanent position, with a salary of £50,000 per annum, plus a range of company benefits.
\n
Working as a Project Engineer, your duties will include:
\n
\n- Undertake the management of projects in accordance with the CDM regulations 2015
\n- Estimating of projects as per customer enquiries, scope of works, specifications and requirements
\n- Planning and management of projects from initiation to completion
\n- Creation, management and maintenance of all required HSEQ documentation for the projects
\n- Customer liaison, meetings, reporting and communication
\n- Undertake HSEQ site audits and compile reports
\n- Organisation and management of sub-contractors relating to the projects
\n- Management of AJT site supervisors and site personnel whilst onsite
\n- Project document control and certification
\n- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment and make appropriate use of PPE at all times
\n- Work to HSE ACOPs, customer rules and specifications, company/divisional work instructions and forms at all times
\n- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
\n- Carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested
\n
\n
To be successful in this position, you will have a SVQ level 3 or equivalent or higher in relevant trade qualification. Ideally combined with preferred experience working in a mechanical, fabrication or piping engineering environment.
\n
Other kay skills, traits and experience include:
\n
\n- Preferred experience working on CDM worksites
\n- Preferred basic knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001
\n- Preferred Full clean driving licence
\n- Ability to learn and adapt to the requirements of the role
\n- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs
\n- Possess computer skills and knowledge of using Microsoft software packages
\n- Possess a high level of focus and attention to detail and accuracy
\n- Organisational ability and time management skills
\n- Demonstrated self-starter with high initiative and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n- Advanced conversational and written English/high level interpersonal skills
\n- Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces
\n- Ability to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner
\n- Able to work away from home as required
