Role Overview:
- Looking for an experienced Project Estimator with a strong background in shopfitting and fit-out projects.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate cost estimates, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- This role is critical to the success of our projects, as you will be involved from the initial concept stages through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for shopfitting and fit-out projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure alignment on project scope and cost expectations.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and reliable delivery schedules.
- Contribute to tender preparation, including the development of bid submissions and client proposals.
- Monitor project costs and provide updated estimates throughout the project lifecycle as necessary.
- Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and best practices within the shopfitting and fit-out sectors.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Project Estimator within the shopfitting or fit-out sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing related to shopfitting and interior fit-outs.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A degree or relevant qualification in construction, quantity surveying, or a related field is desirable.
