Hourly Rate: �12.21 or above depending on experience

Position Overview:

Opus People Solutions on behalf of Vertas are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Administrator to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records and supporting financial reporting. This role is crucial in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. As a financial administrator you will support in bridging the gap between our finance and operations teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong mathematical skills and a keen analytical mindset to support financial processes and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner.

Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.

Coordinate with internal departments to resolve financial discrepancies.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Assist in the preparation for audits and financial reviews.

Perform general administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in finance or accounting roles desired but not necessary

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks.
