Role Research and identify suitable land for renewable energy development, considering factors such as proximity to grid infrastructure, land use regulations, environmental impact, and community interests. Conduct due diligence assessments to evaluate the feasibility and suitability of potential land. Negotiate land agreements, option, leases, easements, and other legal documents with landowners and stakeholders. Work closely with regulatory agencies, environmental consultants, and legal counsel to secure necessary permits and approvals for renewable energy projects. Ensure compliance with all level regulations related to land use, planning, environmental impact assessments, and other relevant requirements. Develop and maintain relationships with government officials, community leaders, and other stakeholders to facilitate the permitting process and address any concerns or objections. Engage with landowners, community members, and other stakeholders to build positive relationships and address any concerns or questions related to renewable energy development. Manage land leases, agreements, and other contractual obligations related to renewable energy projects. Monitor and track land-related expenses, budgets, and timelines to ensure efficient project development and compliance with financial objectives. Coordinate with internal departments, external contractors, and landowners to address any land-related issues or challenges that may arise during project development, construction and operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred. At least 5 years of experience in land management, real estate development, or a related field, with a focus on renewable energy projects. Strong knowledge of property related regulations, environmental permitting processes, and property law. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.Experience working with GIS software and other land management tools is a plus. Demonstrated commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement.
