Project Management Officer

PMO - Permanent OR ContractLocation: Burgess Hill, East SussexSalary: £60,000 - £70,000 (Perm) - £500 - £600 p/d (Contract) Hybrid Working Model (3-Days a week on-site) Paritas is partnered with a leading developer and manufacturer of sophisticated Vacuum products, abatement solutions and related value-added services who are looking for a PMO on either a Perm or Contract basis. This role will suit a a candidate around the Senior Consultant level. This position will see you support and provide expertise across all phases of the project from Engineering, Design, research & technology and related to all aspects of Cost, schedule, risk and change. You will aim to ultimately provide portfolio analysis, rebalancing the portfolio and taking into consideration risk and time to benefit.Main Responsibilities at a glance:Guide PMO department.Provide guidance for the Competence team department.Ensure synergies and provide best practices among departments.Frequent communication of portfolio status to managementBe part of R&D Management, providing vision and strategic direction for the portfolio Department.Ensure investments are in line with the strategic directions of the product company. Contribute to the Strategic product planning vision, Thinking strategically, anticipating future challenges and developing proactive solutions.Ensure that product roadmaps (R&D and Technology roadmap) are done on time and with the correct qualityEnsure that Research & Technology Activities are in synergies with R&D activities, covering all the phases of the product development.Manage the performance of resources in the Department, and provide continuous feedback to ensure the growth of the resources. Delegate tasks, assign goals, and legitimize responsibilities effectively while monitoring and managing team workloadResponsible for a training plan for resourcesQualifications:PMP Certification.Deep understanding of Agile methodologiesDeep understanding of Process Phase/gates methodologies for product development (PDP)People Management skills with people reporting directly and indirectly. Team player, structured and organizedGood written and verbal communication skillsProject experience with significant experience in managing complex multi-brand portfoliosComprehensive understanding of risk and change management.Demonstrated problem-solving ability in cross-functional environment.Advanced MS Excel, Microsoft Project.Please reach out to discuss further: ##### / 07482722960
