Project Manager - Anaerobic Digestion

�60,000 + Attractive Package

Alecto Recruitment are partnering with a market leader within the European Anaerobic Digestion sector, who is actively looking for a Project Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans as part of the project strategy, achieving specific goals.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from transition from Business Development through to handover to the Operation and Maintenance team.
  • Offer technical guidance, acknowledging that the engineering department holds ultimate technical responsibility.
  • Quickly escalate any risks or issues that could impact project outcomes.
  • Generate resource plans and collaborate with the Head of Projects to address resource challenges.
  • Sustain strong relationships with key suppliers and contractors to enhance collaboration.
  • Ensure the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) performance standards are met for all assigned projects.
  • Coordinate training sessions specific to the project for team members, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Maintain high standards in project reporting and the issuance of progress certificates, ensuring both quality and timeliness

Degree and experience:

  • University degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
  • Experience leading construction activities of industrial projects (bioenergy, energy, chemicals, water/waste treatment) in an EPC or construction organisation, with at least three years based on Site.
  • Good understanding of engineering, construction, and commissioning processes.
  • Experience coordinating multicultural teams, with preferably at least one period living abroad.
  • HSE and QA/QC training or experience.
