We are currently representing a leading construction company specializing in large-scale industrial and commercial developments. We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a new industrial warehouse project in Wokingham, Berkshire.
The Role:
As the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing all aspects of the project from initiation to completion. You will lead a dedicated project team, ensuring that the warehouse is constructed to the highest standards while meeting project timelines, budgets, and safety requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled leader with a passion for delivering exceptional results in industrial construction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to handover.
* Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
* Oversee and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.
* Coordinate and chair regular site meetings, providing progress updates and addressing any issues.
* Lead risk management processes, identifying potential issues early and developing mitigation strategies.
* Monitor and control project costs, ensuring financial targets are met.
* Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all project activities and changes.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, preferably with a focus on industrial or commercial projects.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
* In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health and safety requirements.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.
* Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asta, or similar).
* Relevant qualifications in construction management, project management, or a related field.
* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.
* Full UK driving license.
