Project Manager (UK Wide) - Leisure Investor & Developer

This position represents the opportunity to effect delivery of capex investment in acquired properties throughout the UK and mainland Europe. The successful applicant will monitor all budgets against current spend and report back to managers on agreed regular time scale and will have the ability to drive continued improvement in process and cost.

Client Details

Leading leisure operator looking to recruit an experienced delivery PM within their real estate team to manage all aspects of projects from commencement to completion. With close to 150 projects across the UK and Europe the company possesses a strong project pipeline plus an ambition to double the size of the business in the coming years.

Description

• Follow Stage processes for design, tender, construction, handover & review.
• Liasing with Architects, Statutory Bodies, Contractors, M&E, Structural Engineers, Principal Designers (CDM), Operations Teams.
• Agree phasing and programme to share with GPM.
• Understanding H&S elements/CDM/Building Safety relating to your projects.
• Review and negotiate M and E and Builders Costs with GPM assistance.
• Make changes to scope to achieve budget and get Product/Operations team/GPM feedback and signoff on changes.
• Revise drawings through Architect and potentially update costs.
• Deal with Marketing on issuing and relevant comms.
• Arrange Snag and handover meetings per phase.
• Agree variations and associated costs. Getting signoff on variations if applicable from GPM.

Profile

The role requires good construction and building services knowledge. Excellent budgetary control, project planning and multiple stakeholder management skills are essential to success. Ability to set process and standards and ensure all team members deliver to exacting standards. Experience of working on construction and fitout projects valued at over �1 million and an appropriate building qualification to HND level is also required.
