We're seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee multiple engineering projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with excellent organisational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope
- Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout project execution
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Carry out and record toolbox talks and safety alerts and complete site inspection, and site diaries.
- Conduct accident investigations to both company and client time scales and report all incidents to Managing Director
- Ensure a proactive approach to HSE requirements, ensuring staff have the correct PPE, it is used as required and is in good order.
- Be responsible for ensuring that Company QEHS guidelines are adhered to at all times and that near misses and all incidents are reported in accordance with the guidelines.
- Asist with the company achieving all QEHS objectives.
- Ensure high QEHS standards are implemented and met at all times.
- Report project status and financial performance to senior management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Water industry
- HND in Engineering (BEng or BSc preferred)
- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification
- Experience in on-site engineering projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
