Job Description:
My Client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning and delivery of our engineering and product-only projects. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards in programming, delivery management, sub-contractor management, installation quality, client liaison, handover, snagging completion, and Health and Safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary operational link between the customer and the business.
- Manage and appoint UK & IE installation partners, ensuring adherence to group installation standards.
- Create and issue Health & Safety site files on time.
- Oversee onsite project delivery and quality.
- Ensure all contractors receive orders in advance of commencing work.
- Collaborate with international colleagues to implement best practices.
- Maintain the ERP operating system to group standards and in a timely manner across the admin team.
- Deliver projects within defined budgets.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Delivering projects to budget.
- Maintaining site installation quality (Audits).
- Ensuring the availability of in-house and third-party equipment on time.
- Meeting handover deadlines and closing out snagging issues to ensure timely invoicing.
- Zero Health & Safety incidents or escalations.
Competencies:
- Experience in commercial refrigeration.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team, manage, and motivate others.
- Reliability and exemplary behavior serving as a role model for colleagues and customers.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- IT literate with experience in SAP (preferred).
- Proficiency in data analysis, including working with electronic data.
- Ability to plan ahead and handle unexpected changes effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management within the commercial refrigeration sector.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Health and Safety qualifications are a plus.
