Project Manager

The projects team at Barchester have a great opportunity for a proven Project Manager with experience working within a complex, multi-site, operational business, with the ability to work cross functionally working on a range of projects within digital, IT, HR, finance and much more. A dynamic Project Manager with strong stakeholder management experience looking to work with one of the UKs foremost care providers.With over 25 years’ experience, nearly 240 care homes, six independent hospitals and a successful new builds programme with 10 new build homes being built and opened every year for the next three years; Barchester are rapidly and successfully expanding.NEED TO HAVE:• Multi-site digital project management experience in the private sector • Experience working on both live and BAU projects• Proven track record of management and prioritisation of projects• Previous experience in managing digital implementation projects, with an ability to engage at senior level• Commercial astuteness, with well-developed analytical and problem solving skills• Ability to work under demanding timescales and remain calm under pressure• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across the UK on a weekly basisNEED TO DO:• Oversee the roll out programme across digital systems transformations, and management of implementation team• Determine the resources required to develop and ensure successful delivery of projects Provide regular governance and projects reporting to the Programme Director, Business Owner and Executive team • Day-to-day management of the work stream to ensure objectives and deliverables are achieved within time/cost/quality constraints, whilst managing stakeholder expectations• Take responsibility for project documentation, including master project plan, risk register and issues log• Ensure solutions are rigorously challenged, tested and piloted before being implemented• Establish and monitor checks and balances to ensure an effective implementation• Ensure a holistic implementation approach that seeks to embed lasting changeIf you are looking to develop a career with an employer that is supportive and offers progression opportunities, Barchester is an empowering and rewarding place to be.
