Project Manager - South Wales/Cornwall/Oxfordshire - Hybrid
I'm currently working with Electrical Transmission Contractor who work on DNO and National Grid Frameworks across the UK. Due to winning a number of tenders, they're looking for multiple Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to join their team. 
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and dynamic Project Managers to join their team and lead large-scale energy infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects at 132kV, 275kV, or 400kV levels. This role demands exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to drive projects to completion on time, within scope, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of large-scale energy infrastructure projects, ensuring all project objectives are met.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members, providing regular project updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Experience in project management within the energy sector, specifically with 132kV, 275kV, or 400kV projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure, grid systems, and transmission lines.
- Proven ability to manage large budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Location:
Hybrid - 3 days a week on site, 2 days from home
Sites in: South Wales, Cornwall and Oxfordshire. You will only be responsible for the site closest to you.
What We Offer:
Project Managers: £65-75,000 DOE + Company Car/Car Allowance + 10-15% bonus
Senior Project Managers: £75-85,000 + + Company Car/Car Allowance + 10-15% bonus
