Job Opportunity: Project Manager
Location: Scotland (various sites)
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum + car allowance
 
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager, working for a principal contractor on Scottish Water projects. In this role, you will ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You'll oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from design review to commercial management, working closely with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery within the water sector.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·Promote exceptional safety standards and high-quality project delivery for both direct employees and subcontractors.
·Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to uphold the company's reputation.
·Implement the Business Management System (BMS) at every stage of project delivery.
·Collaborate with the design manager to ensure comprehensive technical, safety, and environmental reviews for successful project outcomes.
·Manage all commercial aspects of the project, providing timely and accurate forecasts and estimates.
·Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, and Environmental Policies and Targets.
 
About You:
 
You have a solid background in project management, ideally with experience in the water sector, particularly working with Scottish Water or similar projects. You are a skilled leader with the ability to drive projects to completion while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
 
Skills & Experience Required:
 
·Strong project management experience, particularly in the water sector.
·Experience working with a principal contractor on Scottish Water projects is highly desirable.
·A degree or equivalent qualification in a construction-related discipline.
·APMP certification or equivalent.
·Relevant CSCS Card.
·Experience with Primavera or Powerproject software.
·Strong knowledge of construction health and safety standards.
