Our client based in the technology sector, is currently seeking a dynamic Project Manager for a maternity contract starting around December time.�This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables, as well as coordinating all project activities to ensure successful execution. The�Project Manager�will work closely with IT and relevant client departments to optimise systems and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and identify and mitigate risks and issues.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Systems Implementation
- Coordinate the implementation of software and systems.
- Collaborate with IT and appropriate teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Conduct user training and provide ongoing support.
- Identify opportunities to optimise processes through system enhancements.
- Gather and analyse data to support process improvement initiatives.
- Recommend and implement changes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change logs.
- Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders.
- Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.
- Ensure systems comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
Experience and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Proven experience in accounting systems management and project coordination.
- Strong knowledge of accounting processes and software.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
