Responsibilities of the Project Manager

• To manage a water related construction project, safely delivering works, completion within programme, managing costs and delivering to the clients specification/requirements


• Manage project delivery


• Liaise with Design Team


• Formulate and implement procurement strategy


• Prepare Monthly Client Progress Reports


• Make line managers aware of key issues and solutions


• Develop and maintain relationships with client r, supply chain and local authorities


• Produce and manage contract programme,


• Understanding of Engineering Principles & Extensive technical knowledge and

Role Requirements of the Project Manager

• Degree level qualification in a Civil Engineering or HND in Civil Engineering


• Ideally water & civils project experience


• Understanding of Engineering Principles


• Knowledge and Understanding of construction contract law and forms of contract
