Project Officer (Lifts)

We are proud to be partnering with Housing Association based in Bedfordshire, who are looking to appoint a Project Officer (Lift Safety/LOLER) on a temporary basis for three months.This will be a full-time position, with a daily rate of up to £300 per day via an umbrella company.The ideal candidate will have experience must have experience of leading Lift Safety/LOLER contracts within social housing, relevant qualifications/accreditation, and hold a full UK Driving Licence.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Acting as the main point of contact for contract management of the annual and cyclical lift maintenance, service and LOLER programmes across the domestic housing stockEnsuring legislative and regulatory duties in relation to lifting are met and followed by customers, contractors and staffWorking with the Property Services and Finance team to manage and report on planned and cyclical budgetsEnsuring that all contractor compliance data and certification is accurate and valid, viewing any contractor documentation and addressing any shortfallingsEnsuring that projects are well planned and that performance targets are met by contractors, in line with KPIsContract managing any small cyclical programmes as required (e.g. PAT testing)Experience required:Experience required in Social HousingExperience working with customers within housing Experience of leading Lift Safety/LOLER contracts within social housing, relevant qualifications/accreditationSkills, knowledge and expertise required:Risk assessment and managementNumerate with good communication skills and ability to provide high quality reports A good working knowledge of IT, including Asprey, Microsoft Office software, CRM, Keystone, or other compliance/Social Housing softwareWorking hours:37 hours per week Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
