Project Quantity Surveyor

My client are a large regional main build contractor that is well established in the market place. Due to an increase in recent contracts, they are currently looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join the team.
The Project Quantity Surveyor they are looking for will have proven experienced working for a main contractor. My client delivers a good mix and variety of projects from 5million up to around 80million. With residential, care homes, industrial projects. The have a number of requirements across the business working in and around the Manchester area.
As a project Quantity Surveyor you have a good construction knowledge, grounding and experience in working on design and build projects.
Duties will include:
• Monthly Valuations
• Preparing Bills of Quantities
• Carrying out Take Offs
• Monitor material and labour costs
• Communicate with project staff and sub-contractors regularly to ensure all commercial procedures in place
Individual Requirements:
• Qualified to Degree level in relevant area desirable.
You will ideally have site experience working for a main building contractor. With Quantity Surveying experience working on new build projects. The successful candidate will be proactive and work to their own initiative, working as part of a large team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to develop within a well-established high calibre contractor.
