Project Quantity Surveyor Romford

As a Project Quantity Surveyor at Last Mile working under the UKPS brand, youll be directly reporting to the regional Construction Manager,overseeing the expansive Southeast of England, overseeing East London, East of Gatwick and Southeast. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of customers including Property Developers & Commercial bodies.
You will be ensuring the financial execution of new multi-utility connections and EV Charging projects throughout their construction journey. Working closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and the Finance team, your evaluation of project financials against predetermined budgets will ensure precision and transparency at every stage. Your contribution will be instrumental in upholding financial excellence and driving the success of these projects.

Your responsibilities as a Project Quantity Surveyor:
Assist Project Managers to understand/highlight in more detail the financial performance of their projects.
To drive the forecast/cost to complete process with Project Managers so that variances to budget are communicated to Project Finance as early as possible in the delivery cycle.
Provide detailed financial information to the Project Finance team for budget amendments and production of month-end management reports.
Providing feedback to the Finance, and Estimating teams where required.
Regularly review project invoicing to ensure the timely issue of customer invoices.
Liaise with the Streetworks team to understand Civil Subcontractor costs, ensuring any anomalies are swiftly actioned.
Experience / Knowledge:
Minimum 3 years experience as Quality Surveyor or Commercial Manager.
Contract Management experience.
Qualifications
HNC in Quantity Surveying or equivalent discipline.
Anti-bribery training.
