The Role
Reporting to the UK Managing Director, this home-based role focuses on developing our client's welding robotic cell business within the UK and Ireland. As a newly formed position, the Project Sales Engineer will enhance sales presence, increase turnover, and strengthen the company's profile. Responsibilities also include promoting and developing turnkey solution packages with full technical support from the UK and European teams.
Key Responsibilities:
The Project Sales Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities.
Manage and build key client relationships.
Research and identify new market segments.
Evaluate existing sales partnerships and efforts.
Build cross-functional teams for sustainable growth.
Provide advice on product development, distribution, and promotion strategies.
Direct the development of customer-facing web platforms and digital experiences.
Work closely with the marketing team to improve and grow brand awareness.
About You
The Project Sales Engineer will have a background in robotics or automation (welding application experience beneficial), with sales experience in the territory and established contacts in the area. This high-energy, intelligent professional will thrive in a challenging, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment. Key skills include:
