Our goal is to be our customers first choice as a trusted partner for lighting and energy saving solutions.Job Description:As a Project Sales Manager reporting to the Regional Sales Manager (North), you will play a crucial role in delivering year-on-year sales growth, as agreed in the annual budget through the development of sales plans to support long term, sustainable growth in line with business objectives. You will build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers with the objective of generating sales and prospecting new business opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Develop business opportunities primarily with key electrical contractors, consulting engineers, interior designers, architects, lighting consultants, developers, housebuilders, and end user customers.Facilitate direct/indirect sale of the Company’s products to existing and new wholesale customers.Open new customer accounts with distributors, wholesalers or retailers specialising in Aurora’s respective product catalogues when required.Develop business within those various new product groups which the Company bring to market on an ongoing basis.Respond to and follow-up all Sales, Quotations and Projects.Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.To support and actively participate in training, sales presentations, light fairs, and trade shows as required.The Ideal Candidate:A proven record of accomplishment as a sales professional demonstrating a strong understanding of LED and electronics, wholesale and public sector knowledge and experience.Proven experience of consistently meeting and exceeding sales target within the commercial and/or environmental lighting industry.Strong experience of collaborating with wholesalers, contractors, consultants, architects, and end users.Computer literate, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Phocas, Navision.A clean full driving license.A degree or an equivalent qualification within a technical discipline.LIA qualified.What type of person are we looking for?We are looking for a target driven individual to join the Aurora family who embodies our 8 core values:Innovation - Keeping Aurora ahead of the curve, suggesting new ideas for solutions in line with market trends and market feedback to build a company we are proud of.Quality – Ensuring our products, services and your actions are always kept at a high standard and looking for ways to create something exceptional through continuous improvement.Customer-Centricity - Putting the customer at the heart of all actions, and ensuring we know who our customer is and what they expect from us to be their first-choice partner.People​ - Supporting, empowering, and developing each another, as well as caring for the welfare of others through CSR initiatives and showing a kindness in the way we operate every day.Ambition – Aspiring to be the best you be, through a solution-over-problem mindset, and achieving positive results through planning, determination & resilience.
