We are looking to recruit a Project Supervisor for a company in the UK who are specialising in the fast growing ground source heat pump industry. The client offer a range of services, from design and installation to owning and operating heat pump systems.
As a Project Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing the delivery and execution of ground source heat pump installations. This includes managing resources, coordinating with teams, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with quality and safety standards. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in an industry poised for significant growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Ensure installations are delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining high quality standards.
Quality Assurance: Ensure strict compliance with industry standards and health & safety regulations on all sites.
Team Leadership: Direct and manage mechanical and electrical engineers, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Contractor Management: Liaise with contractors to ensure project milestones are met, attending regular meetings to track progress.
Procurement Coordination: Oversee the timely procurement and delivery of necessary materials and equipment.
Reporting: Monitor and report on project progress, proactively addressing potential issues.
Process Development: Take ownership of developing and refining processes to support next stage of growth.
Special Projects: Assist with additional duties or projects as required by management.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with strong organisational skills, capable of both working independently and collaborating effectively within a team. You should have a proven ability to manage complex projects and drive performance within a rapidly evolving environment.
Requirements:
Industry Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably within the plumbing, heating, or Building Services/HVAC sectors.
Qualifications: NVQ (or equivalent certification).
Leadership Skills: Experience in managing mechanical and electrical engineering teams.
Certifications: SSSTS certification and a valid CSCS card.
Project Management Skills: Strong time management, resource management, and planning skills.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel for short or extended periods as required.
Driving License: Clean driving license required.
