Contract Project CoordinatorPosition: Contract Project CoordinatorStart Date: Early JulyDuration: 6 MonthsLocation: Remote with occasional trips to the client's office in the North of EnglandRate: TBC Day rate our of scope of IR35 c £300 - £340 per dayWe are seeking a skilled and proactive Project Coordinator to join our team on a 6-month contract starting in early July. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic individual with experience in project office support, programme office support, PMO support, and project coordination.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive project office support to ensure the smooth running of transformation projects/programmesAssist in the development and maintenance of project plans and schedules.Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information.Maintain project documentation, including templates, project charters, schedules, and status reports.Monitor project progress actions and handle any issues that arise.Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.Ensure clients' needs are met as projects evolve.Support the programme office with tracking project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short- and long-term actions.Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders.Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.Required Skills and Experience:Proven experience in project office support, programme office support, PMO support, and project coordination within Transformation programmesideally worked in Transport or Utilities or Public SectorsStrong organisational skills, including attention to detail, multitasking abilities and time management.Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexibility and adaptability to handle a changing and dynamic environment.Willingness to travel to the client's office in the North of England on rare occasions.Preferred Qualifications:Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).Experience working in a remote environment.What they offer:The opportunity to work in a very experienced, collaborative, and supportive team environment.The chance to work on an exciting and challenging transformation programme.If you are a motivated and experienced Project Coordinator looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
