A well-established organisation, rooted in tradition and serving communities across a diverse geographical area, is seeking a Project Surveyor to join its Property Team. The organisation is responsible for managing an extensive portfolio of properties, including heritage buildings and residential properties that play a key role in supporting its overall mission.
About the Role:
The Project Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing a range of property and construction projects. These will involve the maintenance, repair, and enhancement of various buildings, many of which are of significant historical and architectural importance. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to high standards, while safeguarding the heritage and function of these properties.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Managing property projects from initial planning to completion, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
  • Conducting building surveys and preparing specifications for maintenance and refurbishment work.
  • Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements, including health and safety and environmental regulations.
  • Offering expert advice on building conservation, repair techniques, and best practice in property management.

Essential Requirements:


  • Professional qualification in a property or construction-related field (e.g., RICS, CIOB).
  • Proven experience managing property projects, particularly those involving conservation or listed buildings.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant building regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • A solutions-focused approach, with attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
