The right person for the role will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience;
- Dealing with basic enquiries including deeds requests;
- Scanning and digitally filing incoming post;
- Procuring title documents from HMLR;
- Assisting with conveyancing estimates;
- Meeting clients;
- Assisting clients with enquiries on initial paperwork;
- Assisting with checking the identity of clients and source of funds and gifted deposits;
- General conveyancing duties from file opening to exchange and beyond;
- Requesting redemption statements;
- Applying for searches;
- Preparing contract packages;
- Applying for management packs;
- Obtaining and uploading information on mortgage platforms;
- Drafting completion statements;
- Stamp duty land tax form preparation, submission and payment of tax to HMRC;
- HMLR applications;
- Telephone calls with clients, estate agents and solicitors; and
- Other duties when required to cover sickness and holidays.
