You will join us on a full time (37 hours), permanent basis and in return, you will attract a salary of £39,459 per annum.
Brighter Places developed from a merger between Solon and United Communities Housing Associations in 2021. We manage 3,300 homes for Bristol and surrounding areas and aim to build brighter futures by delivering 1,000 new homes by 2027.
About our Property Compliance Team Leader role:
As our Property Compliance Team Leader, you will support the Property Compliance Manager and significantly contribute to the delivery of property related safety servicing programmes ensuring that customers are safe, and that Brighter Places meets and exceeds our landlord statutory requirements whilst utilising data analysis to improve service delivery.

Key Responsibilities as our Property Compliance Team Leader:
Ensure we act in accordance with our policies and procedures in all aspects of compliance.
Oversee the monitoring, analysis and reporting of compliance performance.
Oversee data analysis including reconciliations and inspections with the goal of, informing conclusions, and supporting decision-making in streamlining functionality.
Ensure policies, procedures and practices comply with the relevant legislation.
Liaise and monitor contractors to ensure excellent standards of customer service are maintained.
Resolve access issues with customers and ensure appointments for colleagues and contractors to visit customers' homes where appropriate are made and legal process are initiated in a timely manner for court injunctions as required.
What we're looking for in our Property Compliance Team Leader:
Understanding and knowledge of relevant compliance and health and safety legislation and the application of appropriate policies and procedures to support compliance.
Experience of working at senior level, leading and managing a team.
Knowledge and understanding of legislation, policy and regulatory frameworks applicable to landlord statutory compliance.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent IT skill, especially Microsoft Office suites and the ability to learn in house IT systems.
Detailed analytical abilities in data analysis & environments.
Highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated.
High standards of integrity, fairness and professionalism and ability to build trust and respect throughout the organisation.
Valid driving license.
