Job Title: Property Manager

Location: Canterbury (Office based)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 (37.5 hours per week) No weekends

Salary: �28,000 - �32,000 DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough application checks, ensuring all necessary documentation is in order, including right to rent, identification, and guarantor checks.
  • Create and manage tenancy agreements, issuing and following up as necessary.
  • Ensure timely payment collection from tenants and perform credit control duties.
  • Handle deposit registrations and maintain compliance throughout the lettings process.
  • Coordinate new tenant handovers with relevant team members.
  • Continually review and streamline processes to ensure legal compliance.

Requirements:

  • ARLA qualification is essential.
  • Strong experience with Alto systems, conducting reference checks and resolving any technical issues.
  • Solid understanding of property accounts, including generating utility bills and inputting invoices on accounting software.
  • Proven ability to liaise with tenants and offer advice on management incidents.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with property inspections, metre readings, check-ins, and check-outs as required.
  • Provide administrative support to the team and management.
  • Stay updated on ARLA membership tools and communicate relevant updates to the team.
