Job Description for a Property Manager
Maintaining and developing landlord and tenant relationships
Addressing tenant complaints, conducting inspections, contracting repairs, and enforcing rules of occupancy
Support community engagement activities and initiatives to enhance the propertys cultural and business profile.
Working with senior team to ensure practices remain compliant
Overseeing tenant moves alongside coordination of leases and agreements
Reviewing rents and negotiating increases/reductions in line with market values
Maintaining accurate records of site operations, tenant activities, maintenance work, and improvement projects
Development and overseeing of ongoing improvement initiatives, including upgrades to communal areas, utilities, and other site features
Job skills required for a Property Manager
RICS membership (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
Comprehensive knowledge of building management systems, remedial works, and compliance requirements
Effective communicator
Proven experience in managing multi-tenanted properties, commercial buildings, or similar
Highly organised with good time management
Ability to work under pressure
Computer literate including Microsoft Office and in particular Excel
Self-motivated and career driven
Proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.
Must be a driver and have own car
Bachelors degree in facilities management, construction, business administration, or a related field preferred.
