Role Overview



As a property Rental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the administration of their lettings processes. You will assist with organising rent increases, managing new tenancies, re-marketing void properties, and coordinating and completing property inspections. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks will be essential in ensuring their operations run smoothly.





Key Responsibilities




  • Administer the lettings process, ensuring all documentation and procedures are completed accurately and efficiently.

  • Assist with organising rent increases and communicating changes to tenants.

  • Support the management of new tenancies, including preparing tenancy agreements and coordinating move-in procedures.

  • Re-market void properties to minimise vacancy periods, including instructing local letting agents to find suitable tenants for void properties.

  • Organise and complete property inspections, documenting findings and coordinating any necessary maintenance or repairs.

  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems to reflect changes in tenancy and property status.

  • Provide excellent customer service to tenants and the landlord, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.





Qualifications and Skills




  • Previous experience in a property management or rental administration role is preferred.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.

  • Proficiency in using property management software preferred and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
