Protocol Engineer

Our Partner is looking for a Protocol Engineer to contribute to the design and development of the fastest-growing layer-1 that is shaping the future of finance. They have recently received an additional 9-figure sum in funding to provide an interoperable smart contracts platform tailored for DeFi applications.In this Protocol Engineer role, you will:Design, develop and maintain the layer-1 blockchain.Develop and optimise core components of the blockchain, including consensus, state management and financial infrastructure.Contribute to research and development of new features and blockchain technologies.Work closely with internal cross-functional teams, as well as external partners and communities to further enhance their ecosystem.The ideal Protocol Engineer will have the following skills and experiences:Experience with protocol engineering in a blockchain settingUnderstanding of blockchain concepts, cryptography and consensus mechanismsProficiency and production experience with Rust or GolangDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant fieldIf you're looking for a new Protocol Engineer role at one of the most reputable and well-funded companies in the industry, apply now!
