Job Title: Locum Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (Learning Disabilities)

Location: Cumbria (Negotiable Remote Working)

Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: £50 per hour

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our team in Cumbria, specializing in the care of individuals with Learning Disabilities. This is a full-time position with the potential for negotiation around remote working. The role requires a candidate with strong expertise in working with people with Learning Disabilities and the ability to travel to the site as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment & Intervention: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and deliver tailored interventions for individuals with Learning Disabilities, ensuring that care plans are person-centered and effective.
  • Therapeutic Support: Provide evidence-based therapeutic support to individuals, helping to manage and improve their mental health and overall well-being.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, contributing psychological expertise to support holistic care for clients.
  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of all interventions and outcomes.
  • Remote & On-Site Work: While remote working is negotiable, you must be available for on-site visits as required to provide direct care and attend meetings.
  • Travel: A valid driving license is essential, as travel to the site may be required.
