Psych Grad - Burnley:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a recent psychology graduate to join a team of teaching assistants at a lovely school near Burnley.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate who is looking to pursue a career in educational psychology.
The Role:
Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups within the classroom
Preparing learning resources and activities
Communicating with parents, staff and pupils
Position Details:
Position: Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Burnley
Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm (during term time only)
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
Start date: Jan 2025
End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Previous experience working with children
Psychology Degree is essential
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
