Pay: £88.92 - £100.53 per day (dependent on payroll choice)

About the Role:

Simply Education is partnering with a specialist school in Alsager, rated 'Good' by Ofsted. The school provides high-quality education for students with special educational needs, including autism and SEMH, aged 4 to 19 in a supportive environment. With small class sizes (around 7 students) and a total of 80 students on roll, the school offers individual attention and tailored support.

As a Psychology Graduate, you will work directly with students, assisting with learning activities and helping them develop confidence and skills. This role is ideal for someone looking to apply their psychology background in a rewarding educational setting.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting students in classroom activities, assisting them in achieving their individual learning goals.
• Helping with emotional regulation and communication strategies (PECS, Makaton, sensory integration).
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment and fostering students' independence.
• Collaborating with teachers and other staff to provide tailored support.
• Encouraging students in social and academic skills development.

What We're Looking For:

• A Psychology Graduate passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs.
• Experience in education or working with SEND students is helpful but not essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a special needs education setting.
